Well folks it has been a very busy spring for us. The economy has not dampened our business at all! Our installation schedule is now full for an average of two weeks out. There seem to be a paradigm shift this year. Many more people are aware of the benefits of rain water harvesting.

We are grateful for the business but it is a bit of an adjustment. We are transforming the behind the scenes stuff to create a more efficient, manageable business. We have no desire to be rich , just sustain ourselves. We also have no desire to work 12 hours days but sometimes it turns out that way!

We have some new products on the way including:

Outdoor Compost Tumbler - using a re-purposed, industrial barrel

Plastic Worm Compost Bin - for those that our current worm bin doesn't suit their needs.

Rain Barrel Kits - Already have a barrel? Now you can turn it into a rain barrel with our kit. It will include all the parts and instruction you'll need.

30 gallon Rain Barrel - Do you need soemthing for a small space or don't need much water? This mught do the trick.

We also have friend who has introduced us to small portable gardens made from shipping skids. These are still in the early development stage but look promising.

We will be at many local shows in the next couple of months including many workshops.  I'll do my best to keep the calendar updated, (better then I've done so far!). If you see us please stop by and say hi. We love talk to people about their experiences.

We are working with a new business in town, One20 Farm . They are our primary worm suppliers. The recently started offering worm castings and compost "tea bags". It's great stuff and they are a small sustainable business like us.

I'm (Chris) very involved in Simply Living including being Board Vice president. Simply Living has meant a great deal to Diane and I and we wouldn't be where we're at with out it. Please check it out!

Diane will be starting up with the Clintonville Farmer's Market later in May.  As always, she'll be working with our good friend, Denise Anderson at 2 Silos Chicken Farm.

This will be our third year at the Ohio Green Living Fayre. Not only are we vendors there but we're part of the organizing committee. It will be in the heart of Zanesville, Ohio this year right along the river. It will be a great location and the city is behind us 100%. Please come check it out!
