OK, as some of you probably suspect this is our busy season. Busy is an understatement!

We have been almost none stop for about 8 weeks now. Mind you, I'm not complaining, it just been a little overwhelming. We enjoy talking to each and everyone of you. We love hearing about your experiences and ideas. There have been times, at events, that we just couldn't talk to everyone. It as frustrating for us as, I'm sure it's been for you. Please be patient and we'll continue to do our best.

We've had to do the thing we dreaded most. Raise out prices! After analyzing our business for the first quarter of this year we realized we were not being sustainable. Diane and I are not out to be rich. We have no need or desire. However, we do want to sustain ourselves. We want Little Square Farm to be around for a long time. So we made some changes to achieve that goal. We are also changing the behind the scenes structure for the same reason. Our prices may be a little higher than others, but we offer the best possible service and support. We have the experience to recommend what's best for you. How many of you realize we warranty our products for one year. If anything goes wrong, in that first year, we'll take care of it. The first thing we do is offer the best quality products we can but we also want you to know we'll be around to support it. We hope you'll understand!

We have temporarily stopped offering our compost products. This is for a couple of reasons. 1. We have not had time to source and stock some of the raw materials and labor to assemble them. The rain water harvesting products have keep us busier than we should be. 2. We are working with a new, local business, One20Farm - http://www.one20farm.blogspot.com/ They are having a slow start to their worm business. When your dealing with living beings, it doesn't always go according to plan! I know some of you are waiting patiently for these products, (or maybe not.). Have no fear we'll get back to them just as soon as we can!

 Finally, Diane and I are empty nester's now. Our oldest daughter and granddaughter moved out a short time ago. Our youngest moved out last summer. It's been an adjustment for us both. We have no time to enjoy it or to fill up the vacated rooms in the house. Maybe latter this summer. We want a proper home office, with some eco-remodling. This will include earth plasters for those of you interested.
